James Cameron’s 1991 Spider-Man script

You read that right. Back in 1991, James Cameron, notable sci-fi movie maker who wrote and directed The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, The Abyss, and Aliens, took a stab at penning everyone’s favorite webslinger. Eleven years later, some of his ideas made it into the first Spider-Man movie. Click the pic to read Cameron’s vision for Spidey.

Typically I shy away from linking to other sites as a source of info, but the only other way I could have done this would have been to steal the entire script and post it here, which is a dickhead thing to do. Let’s give credit where credit is due. THIRD MILLENNIUM entertainment posted the entire script for public review long ago. So click the pic below and check out James Cameron’s idea of what the first Spider-Man film should have been, then come back and tell us what you think.

2021 Update: Shout out to u/zDarkzy for the poster.
