I’m so tired. So sleepy. This will be short, and the pictures will be ugly. I would apologize, but that would be a lie. I’m too exhausted to care.

Pinkiwine is a weird name for a Chinese manufacturer of bootLegos, but these Halloween models were calling my name. For $8, I figured it was worth the risk. This is the way they arrived. Pumpkin Hero, Skull Hero, Scythe Ghost, and Thee Demon. Yes, Thee Demon. That’s probably a typo, but not mine. Or it’s possibly just poor translation. Whatever. It’s Chinese, I don’t know what to tell you.

This is what’s in the bag. I chose Scythe Ghost because it looked like the crappiest. And I was right. It is. But the horrible color isn’t its fault. I took these pics in very bad lighting, and I’m too tired to Photoshop them. The bricks are proper white in real life.

The Amazon listing for these clearly advertises the LED eyes, but somehow I failed to see it. I was surprised to find that each of these came with a color changing light brick.

This is a color changing light brick.

And this is the finished Scythe Ghost. I’ll be honest, neither the scythe nor the ghost excite me. But that witch’s hat is smothered in thick, savory awesome sauce. The use of the Technic (knockoff) gear is great, and the fact that they included the purple hat band just gives it that extra Halloween something.

I got hungry about 2 AM and, inspired by the homeland of our Pinkiwine ghouls, I headed to the local Chinese dive. Not normally something I would report, but on the way there I passed the best decorated house in the city. These pictures do it no justice. This place absolutely glows with deep red evil, and there is a different neon alchemical symbol beaming from each window. I love it.

After I ate, I started on Thee Demon.

I didn’t think I would like this, but it might be my favorite.

“Well, how would you like to have someone come along and pick something off of you?”

This is Skull Hero.

He’s okay.

Pumpkin Hero looks great like this.

But he looks AWESOME like this! I have no energy for a clever outro. Were these worth the $8 and free shipping? Hell yes, they were! These were a great way to spend a cool October evening. So click the pics and make a worthy purchase. Someone you know, someone you love, is silently counting on you. Don’t let her down.
