“Thats why its always worth having a few philosophers around. One minute its all ‘Is Truth Beauty, and is Beauty Truth?,’ and then, just when you think they're gonna start dribbling, one of ‘em says, ‘Incidentally, putting a 30ft parabolic reflector on a high place to shoot the rays of the sun at an enemy ship would be a very interesting demonstration of optical principles.’ ”

Chris loves Spider-Man KLIK candy “dispensers”

spider-week-klik-frame.jpgCandy dispensers my ass. These things dispense candy in exactly the same way that an AK-47 gently tosses bullets to its targets. These are like Pez dispensers for Smarties, only replace the words 'Pez dispensers' with 'rocket-powered skeet launchers.' They're fantastic. Click the pic to come in and check 'em out in action.

Spider-Week has begun!

spiderman-in-web-200frame.jpgThere's no way in world you don't know that Spider-Man 3 hits theaters on Friday. I'm not here to promote that. So what's up with Spider-Week then? Here's the deal: until the movie is released, we're going to TRY to have a new Spider-article every day. It may not be about the movie, but it'll be completely Spider-ific. I emphasize 'try' because last time, during our Halloween 2006 celebration, I promised an article a day and I wasn't able to deliver. But this time I've been preparing for months, and I'm smart enough not to promise anything. With that in mind, I've got a bunch of great Spider-stuff to review, and with great Spider-stuff comes great responsibility. Click the pic for today's Spider-fix!

Chris reviews Capmpbell’s The Batman soup

batman-can-120.jpgLike most of my more interesting purchases, this is one of those things I knew I should grab and throw in the shopping cart before I thought about it too long. If I'm not careful, the adult in me will take over and ruin all sorts of fun. So when I saw this on the shelf, I grabbed a can, ran to the front of the store, threw a handful of change at the cashier, and bolted out the doors as quickly as possible. I was going to have my The Batman soup, by God, and no one, especially not me, was going to interfere.

Sick Chris & The Plastic Magnet Ninja Warriors

That'd be a great name for a band, wouldn't it?

I've been out of commission for the last few days. I've been trying to get over a nagging chest cold fire-damaged lung caused by breathing the spores of the mystical white phosphor lotus I got while playing with my cousin's baby battling a rabid Yeti sorcerer to the death in the Himalayas. Click the pic and I'll tell you all about it.

Chris reviews Ghost Rider

ghostriderfrontend.jpgI'll be honest; I wasn't expecting much. Nicolas Cage as a fiery motorcycle demon who wreaks vengeance upon the wicked? I'm not buying it. Then again, the movie couldn't possibly have been as bad as the trailer made it out to be. To tell you the truth, I really didn't know what to expect. So what's the real scoop? Click the pic and I'll tell you all about it. And if you're good, maybe I'll even let you see Eva Mendes's nipples. You're welcome.
