Chris is being haunted by Halloween

oct09.jpgHalloween is following me. I'm not kidding. Even before October it kept showing up in inappropriate places, making its eerie presence felt. Its purposefully pointing itself out to me, making no bones about the fact that it is deliberately screwing with me. I can't fight it. Its too powerful. Its all knowing. And its everywhere

But right now I just don't care. There's a new Indiana Jones movie on the way and I can't wait. What's the movie gonna be about? How will the story play out? I don't know, I'm making this up as I go. Chris’s newest addiction: the 7th Sea CCG

7th-sea-ccg-card-back-thumb.jpgThe 7th Sea Collectible Card Game is a game of pirates and magic on the high seas of the fictional 17th century world of Théah. I don't play the 7th Sea Collectible Card Game. I have never played the 7th Sea Collectible Card Game. I never intend to play the 7th Sea Collectible Card Game. I don't even like collectible card games. So why in the hell do I love these things so much?

Independence Day, Sci-Fi Guys style - Part II

07-07-07-fireworks-bizarre-02-thumbnail.jpgAlright, quick recap of Part I: To celebrate July 4th, I traveled to the prehistoric land of Indiana to shop at Trav's, where I bought a bunch of sci-fi fireworks and watched a family fall apart.
