Frog Boy reviews Stephen King’s Silver Bullet

silverbullet-dvd-cropped-halloween-thumbnail.jpgIn our first of the season's Halloween themed articles, and to mark the 21st anniversary of its theatrical debut on October 11, 1985, Sci-Fi Guys horror correspondent Frog Boy reviews the movie adaptation of Stephen King's Cycle Of The Werewolf.  Click the pic to see how much scarier Gary Busey is than other kinds of monsters. Boo!

Costumes and stuff - UPDATED!

mark-halloween-thumbnail.jpgNew post? Find a relavent thread and just comment? Hmm.. I could write a new post… but I've only got just the one little link and don't really have any relavant images…. Or I could just slap this as a comment onto another more relavent post, but then it might not get the massive amount of attention it so richly deserves.

Chris reviews Bram Stoker’s Dracula

bram-stokers-dracula-halloween-thumbnail.jpgI saw this movie on a rack full of other Halloween DVDs for $10, and I was so psyched. I grabbed it, remembering that it was good, remembering how much I liked it way back in 1992. After watching it again, I can't imagine what the hell I'm remembering, because this movie sucks more than (insert your own vampire pun here).

Chris loves Halloween music

creepy-classics-halloween-thumbnail.jpgHalloween is the only time of the year that I can buy things like plastic skulls and glow in the dark spiders and not be treated like a freak. Its also the only time of year I can find CDs full of music accompanied by moans and screams without having to visit my local porn shop's fetish room. Come on in; I'm giving you a 100% No More "Ghostbusters" Remixes Guarantee.

Chris welcomes the newest Sci-Fi Guy to the family

evil-lyn-halloween-thumbnail.jpgHappy Birthday, Evil-Lyn, and welcome to planet Earth! Direct from the passionate, juicy loins of Dan and T.H.O. Girl comes the newest Sci-Fi Guy, little Evil-Lyn. She's 7 lbs., 11 oz. of sugar, spice, and everything nice, plus she had the good taste to be born with a name that sounds like Skeletor's woman. I love this kid already.

Chris doesn’t feel too good…

I'm out of the office today, folks.  I feel like crap and I'm worn out from nothing at all.  I think I have sympathy exhaustion now that Evil-Lyn's been born.  Its the only explanation I can think of.  I don't have much content to offer, so I promise I'll make it up to you with a really, really, really good article tomorow.  Pinky swear.

Quentin finally sees Underworld: Evolution and X-Men 3

Okay, so I haven't seen a single movie this year - I've been preparing for a wedding, which is another way of saying "busy and broke".  Finally, last night, Vickie and I got to rent some movies.  I kept with the spirit of the holidays and stuck with a "freaks" theme: Gothy Freaks (Underworld: Evolution), Cool Freaks (X-Men 3: The Last Stand) and Dead Freaks (Corpse Bride).

Chris passes out (eye)candy

halloween-2006-banner-thumbnail.jpgOkay folks, I'm strapped for time, I need an article for the day, and I need it ASAP.  Guess what?  I don't have one.  So to compensate, I'm giving something away, free to anyone who wants it.  No tricks; just click the pic to come in and get your treat.
