What, Stan Bush gets seven comments but Ghostbusters and Nine Inch Nails get nothing? Unfuckingbelieveable. Fine then, lemme show ya dirty bitches how we do things downtown:
Thanks, bro. I really like the way “Ghostbusters vs Bad” worked out, if its not too pompous to say so. Now the world has some fake, fan-made album art to go with the fake, fan-made song. Yay me. Unfortunately, not everything went so smoothly; Michael asked the ghost he replaced to a sleep-over during which there may have been some inappropriate touching, which may result in criminal charges. Their lawyers are conferring now. We may be on the cusp of yet another media blitz trial in which we will once again get to be horrified and repulsed by disturbingly grotesque courtroom images like this:
Busta was a problem. I was hampered by the fact that in every pic I found of him he was being all hard core, trying to scare whitey and the po-po. I was even more hampered by the fact that I was thoroughly fucking sick of working in Photoshop, and as 10 PM approached I began to care less and less that the image looked like shit. I may go back and clean it up in the future. But probably not.
Big thanks to Q for hooking me up with the GB/NIИ mash.
No, babe, the original was just out and out plagarism. Huey Lewis sued Ray Parker Jr.’s ass for copyright violation and won, and I think it was a good call. I’m not sure, but I think the legal nonsense surrounding all that may have been one of the reasons the “Ghostbusters” video isn’t on the DVDs. Its a pretty glaring ommission for such an unbelievably popular song, especially considering the incredible amount of stuff they squeezed onto those DVDs.
If I remeber correctly then didn’t the record company want Huey Lewis to do the theme song? I think he said no and then the record company just stole his stuff and had Ray Parker Jr. sing it. I do still see the video now and then on VH1 classic
If I catch it again I will try to DVR it. Actually if you want go to VH1 classic’s website. They have a request page just put in my info and request it. My cable provider is Insight. That way they will notify me if they play it and I can DVR it for you. They paly the whole video too, not a cut version.

I guess I am just old school but the remixes did not do anything for me. I like the original the best.
In addition - Chris did an excellent job with the graphics - I especially love the Michael Jackson one - nice work!!
Peace,
Frog Boy
