Wow. That bot gets right to the damn point. You know, I've deleted a bunch of these, but I like the sheer honesty of this one. It doesn't even try to sell you. It just says, in a very polite manner, "Hey, I'm not gonna make any promises I can't keep. I wouldn't lie to you like that. But if you click me, I will promise you that I will do my best to find some porn for you."

Good for you, little porn bot. You keepin' it real. I've deleted a lot of your less honest cousins, but I think I'm gonna let you stay.

Not this one, Bob. I kinda like it.

Jesus, I'm noticing lately that ads for this DVD are all over the place. I'll bet Mrs. X and I are among the very few readers this site will ever have who had the pleasure of seeing it on the big screen, which is too bad, 'cause most movie do more rockin' when they're 30 feet tall. However, its good to see that they're really promoting this DVD. I hope it sell well, for what its worth.

Okay, lets face it, its not worth too much. No one's reading this because our site doesn't get a lot of traffic anyway, and this article's not even visible from the main page anymore. Why am I doing this? Why do I torture myself? My efforts are not enough. CLEARLY. Why don't I know when to lay down and die, already?

Ugghh... this is gonna be a great day.

I know that this is not about the movie Night Watch but I did see another horor flick that I would like to report on...

I finally got to see the movie 'Hostel.'

The hype was huge, the story line sounded great - the movie SUCKED!!!!

Have you ever wished that you could have part of your life back because you completely wasted it? That is exactly how I felt about the two hours I spent watching this piece of shit.

I have had a love for horror films for quite some time but it has been a long time since I have seen one this bad. Normally I can watch a horror movie and appreciate some aspect of the movie - the only part of this movie I appreciated was the credits because I knew the pain was over.

If you like to see horribly produced "hacker" scenes and some nice young breasts then you may get something out of this movie. However, if you have a deep desire to see a great horror flick, like I do, then don't waste your time.

Peace,
Frog Boy

Honestly, it was hard to believe this was a Russian film done on a Russian budget. It just looked so damn good. This movie is what 'Constantine' should have been, and what it needed to be: darker, edgier, smarter, and deeper. I love DC's Vertigo imprint like I love sex, and masturbation, and mashed potatoes, and complaining, and making lists. So 'Constantine,' while not a bad flick, was a big let-down for me, because it needed to be more like 'Night Watch' to really capture the spirit of the Vertigo books. I'm afraid 'Constantine' might've put the last nail in the coffin for my hopes of a really intensely moving and gripping Sandman or (oh, sweet immortal lords of Eternia how I wish) Swamp Thing movie. I don't know what it is about DC: they make the best comics in the industry in my not-so-humble opinion, but they rarely hit with great films. Marvel has the opposite problem; their books are inflated, pompous, pointlessly violent, and often outright stupid, but the movies just plain old work.

Okay, I've just reread this comment, and the fact that I've forgotten to get my prescription refilled and am out o' Ritalin is making itself horribly apparent. My point of all this is that fans of the old-school Vertigo comics (Swamp Thing, Sandman, Hellblazer), the ones that first made critics stand up and recognize comic books as a legitimate literary medium worty of adult attention, will find a similar mood, intensity, and intelligence in Night Watch: ИOCHИOI DOZOR. It's just really damn good, and I can't wait for the other two films. Not only because I'm sure they'll be really good, but also because it'll give me an excuse to use more of those cool-ass backwards Russian letters that I've just now learned how to put on my website.

This one looks like an evil robot ant: Ж
This one looks like an exterior support buttress at Hoover Dam: Д
This one looks like it should be shorthand for 'Hebrew': Њ

How in the hell could we have hated and feared an empire that uses such cool letters?! Ҝоммциіѕм яосќѕ, БaЪү! Ұєађ!

And go see Night Watch. Its real good.
